Chrysler's
primary purpose is to produce high quality vehicles, but they are also active
in social efforts which positively affect drivers of varying communities. Their
recent partnership with Kaiser Permanente and the National Association of
Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) issues is a good example of such contribution.
p>Working in conjunction with the non-profit organization
and the NAHJ, Chrysler will create an interactive exhibit at the upcoming
Excellence in Journalism convention in California to increase awareness on
wellness and nutrition challenges encountered by multicultural communities.
Their presence at the Journalism Conference will be
an opportunity to discuss various solutions and education initiatives to help
these communities. The journalists could then share these ideas in the interest
of increasing public awareness.
Chrysler has incorporated a culture of health in
their production facilities and headquarters for many years. Employees are
provided with a healthy environment where exercise and good nutrition habits are
encouraged to achieve a balance between their work and home life.
